Meeting Schedule (Bro.G.P.S.Robinson)

“Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:4).

When the whole earth had one language and speech, the whole of humanity was proud and wanted to honour themselves by building themselves a city. Here they say that they want to do it to make a name for themselves. They have completely forgotten their Creator, the One above, who brought to them to the earth. Just like Lucifer, they wanted to lift themselves above the Lord. What a fall they had! Yes, the Lord is always against the proud. He comes down and causes confusion in the language.  He says, ‘I will not give My glory to another’ and that He will honour those who honour Him. In this materialistic world, whose glory or honour do we seek? Ours or any other man’s? If so, we will be a failure. To give praise, honour and glory to God should be our priority no matter what talent or wealth or status we possess. Let us search our heart and dedicate our lives to bring glory only to His name alone!
