 |
My loving New Year greetings to you in the name
of Jesus Christ! |
The Lord, who led us and our family all through the last year, shall
lead us further, this year also. |
God's
promise for this New Year is, “The glory of the LORD
shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth
of the LORD has spoken."(Isaiah 40:5) |
This year, the Lord is going to do glorious deeds in our family life.
We are going to see it with our own eyes since He, who has promised
is faithful. |
|
God's Glory in the Wilderness |
| When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, Pharaoh and his army
chased them in the wilderness. Before them, there was the Red Sea and
behind them was pharaoh's army. They were troubled and fear of death
gripped them. When they were baffled not knowing what to do and how
to go, we see in Exodus 14th chapter that the Israelites cried out
to the Lord. |
Even today, dear child of God, who is deeply troubled and anxious
as you are in the wilderness, not knowing the path and distressed on
all sides! Look upon the Lord and He will do glorious things in your
life. |
|
Glorious East Wind |
| The LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that
night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry
ground. |
Dearly beloved! There is nothing impossible with God. This year,
it is enough that the Lord sends a strong east wind against your problem.
Then every obstacle shall be removed. Your problem will be solved.
God will gloriously open a way for you. Do not despair by looking at
problems. Look at the Lord. He will do glorious things. |
|
Glory Before Enemies |
| The
LORD overthrew the Egyptians who followed the Israelites in the
midst of the same sea. Beloved,
for the Israelites,
it was a way.
But, the same way was a pit of a death for their enemies. This year,
the Lord is going to prepare a table for you in the presence of your
enemies and anoint your head with oil. We too can sing like Miriam,
'I will sing to the LORD,
For He has triumphed gloriously!' (Exodus 15:1) |
|
When Will the Glory be Revealed? |
When
will this glory of God be revealed in our family life? 'If
you would believe you would see
the glory of God"(John
11:40). Hence, believe the Lord. Cry out to Him. He will do glorious
things in your
family life, this year. |
