If you are still, you shall see miracles!
Dearly beloved in Christ, I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! The Lord is able to do miracles in each one of your life.
When you depend on the Lord without getting dejected at times of problem, struggle and difficulties, He will do miracles in your life. Do you know what the Lord tells us when the enemy comes against us to attack our family? He says, "The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."(Exodus 14:14) |
When the people of Israel were delivered and brought out of Egypt, the army of Pharaoh again pursued them. Before them was the Red sea and behind them the army of Pharaoh. The situation was such that there was no way out.
Dearly beloved, perhaps you too are passing through similar situation. It may seem as if every door on all sides is closed. When you are in a state where you do not know what to do, the Lord expects you to be still.

If we are still, we can see the works of the Lord. The Lord asked the people of Israel to be still and hold their peace. But He was not still. Hallelujah!
The Lord divided the red Sea. He made the people of Israel walk through it beautifully. The same Red Sea troubled the army of Pharaoh. He destroyed them completely.
Even today, the Lord says just one word – Be still. Are your problems intensifying? Are agonies attacking you in series? Are you distressed on all sides? Are you at a loss bemoaning, ‘I don’t know a way out’? Are the humiliations caused by men are unbearable? Hold your peace and be still.
Being still is not depending on your own wisdom, strength, skills, or family, but trusting and depending on the Lord totally. Your eyes should look upon Him until He does a miracle. Then He will surely do a miracle in your life. He will shatter your enemies and prepare a table for you.
Hence, dearly beloved, do not despair. Soon you shall see a miracle. Your days of sorrow shall end. |
