The glory of the LORD shall be revealed' (Isaiah 40:5) |
My dear child of God! I greet you in the name of the
Lord Jesus, this New Year. May the abundant blessing of the Lord abound
in you! In the beginning of every year, the servants of God, wait and
pray in the presence of God and give His promise to His children. When
they receive these promises in faith, God does mighty miracles in their
lives. |
As far as this year 2009 is concerned, it is going to
be a year of God's glory for His servants, and for all those who have
accepted Him as their personal Saviour and are leading a life totally
depending on Him. It is God's will to reveal His glory as never before,
this year; it is His will to reveal Himself through signs and wonders,
as never before. He is going to pour down His fire anointing on all
those who are zealous of Him and who wait at His feet with fasting
and prayer and is going to use them for the glory of His name. When
the Lord thus reveals His glory, the devil too would try to create
problems for God's people. Yet, his works shall be destroyed. Dear
child of God, who is reading this, it is God's will that you too should
see His glory. What should we do for this? Read on with prayer! |
SEEK GOD'S PRESENCE |
And
all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. Then
Moses
said, "This is the thing which the LORD commanded
you to do, and the glory of the LORD will appear to you."(Leviticus
9:5,6) |
My dear brother and sister! It is the will of God to
reveal His glory and there is no doubt about it. But, to enjoy those
blessings, we need to obey the Word of God. It is true that He, who
promised is faithful. But at the same time, we should never forget
that all the promises of God are conditional. On that day, as Moses
commanded, the congregation stood before the presence of the Lord.
Leviticus 9:23 says, when they obeyed God's commandments, His glory
was revealed to all the people. |
Dear child of God! We have come to the days in which
we should see the glory of the Lord. Commit yourself to seek His presence
and walk according to His commandments this year. Surely, your eyes
shall see the same glory of God which appeared to the people of Israel. |
INCREASE YOUR PRAYER |
“When Solomon had finished praying, fire came
down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices;
and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. And the priests could
not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had
filled the Lord's house” (II Chronicles 7:1,2). |
| This year, not only the children of God, but also the
gentiles and those who do not know the Lord, are also going to see
His glory. There is no need to brood over last year's failure, sorrow,
loss, grief and poverty and be troubled over it. It is God's will for
you that you should be blessed and be a blessing. When God desires
that all the people should see His power, is it not right that you
too must see His power? |
The second thing that you must do, is to increase your
prayer time; Walk with God in prayer. If possible appoint days of prayer
and have fellowship with God. God is going to take ordinary, simple
and illiterate people in His hands, use them and reveal His glory.
This year God's fire will be mightily manifested just as the fire came
down after Solomon's prayer as well as after Elijah's earnest prayers.
Those who pray shall enjoy this experience. Do not depend on others'
prayers but pray every day, being filled with the Spirit. When you
thus pray more and more, glorious deeds will be performed in your family
and personal life, in a way more than you expected. Make a decision
to pray with tears and in earnest. Then, you shall not only see the
glory of God, but it shall be manifested through you. This is the will
of God concerning each one of you, this New Year. |
